Aviationtag X Air North

Introducing the second aircraft of the Aviationtag X Air North Collection after the Hawker Siddeley HS 748 - the Boeing 737 C-GNAU takes the spotlight, marking Aviationtag's first ever Boeing 737-200.

Manufactured with Serial Number (MSN) 21817, it was initially delivered to Piedmont Airlines in 1979, christened as the "Peninsula Pacemaker" with registration N772N. Transitioning to USAir in 1989 and later to US Airways in 1997, the aircraft made its way to Canada in 2001 under Royal Airlines, obtaining the C-GNAU registration. After serving Canada 3000 in 2002, it found a home at Air North in the Yukon until its retirement in 2011, resting in Whitehorse. In 2023, it was carefully cut and, in 2024, reborn as an Aviationtag, preserving its legacy for aviation enthusiasts worldwide.

While this 45-year-old aircraft exhibits signs of wear on its paint, as detailed information below on the page explains, it makes for a perfect gift for enthusiasts and doubles as an ideal keychain or luggage tag. Embrace the history and journey of the Boeing 737-200 C-GNAU as it takes its place in our collection.

A notice: Every Aviationtag is unique. Depending on the plane, they differ in their feel, thickness of the material and color. Small bumps tell of the many years in the air and express the character of days gone by. Minor scratches, paint chips and bumps are completely normal and give the Aviationtag its special charm - that of a vintage product made from upcycled materials. These special features did not arise from the production process, but rather reflect the condition of the aircraft material used!

When used as a key ring or as a luggage tag, we recommend using the Aviationtag protective cover.

Boeing 737: The Boeing 737-200 is a version of the 737-100 that has been extended to 30.48 meters (approx. 100 feet), which was originally adapted primarily to the US market and was still equipped with Pratt & Whitney JT8D engines .
